Rustam Minnikhanov meets Administration of the largest world port operator DP World

On 10 December during his working trip to the UAE the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the DP World Group Chairman and the CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.

The DP World is one of the largest world port operators, managing more than 78 sea terminals and the largest industrial park in the world Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA).

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov attracted attention to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin has defined diversification of logistics routes as a priority and first of all due to the creation of the North-South transport corridor.

“Due to its geographic location and developed infrastructure Tatarstan is the nodal center of this corridor. We are interested in the development of the cross-border trade with the UAE and your company,” he emphasized.
