Address from the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of the International Anticorruption Day

Dear Tatarstan residents!

December 9 is the International Anti-Corruption Day, an important reminder an important reminder of the need to unite efforts to combat one of the key challenges of our time. Corruption significantly harms all areas of our lives, distorting economic processes and undermining social justice. This is why combating this phenomenon is a priority for government agencies at all levels.

Tatarstan contributes to the nationwide anti-corruption system, consistently implementing a comprehensive approach: from digitalization of public administration to ensuring open information and strengthening public control. Particular attention is paid to legal education and improving the digital literacy of the population. I am sure that corruption prevention is impossible without the active participation of every citizen. Only by joining forces we can create efficient mechanisms to combat corruption and, overall, a new culture of relationships based on trust and responsibility.

I am confident that due to our shared commitment to the principles of honesty, fairness, and the rule of law, Tatarstan will continue to confidently develop, strengthening its position as one of Russia's key and dynamically developing regions.
