On 19 November, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Abdulrahman Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the republic is interested in cooperation with Bahrain.

Russia attaches very much attention to interaction with Bahrain, he emphasized and informed that always visits Bahrain with interest  (in 2022 he took part in the Bahrain Forum and in November 2024 participated in the 19th annual Conference on Islamic Banking and Finances).

Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded about a conference held jointly with the AAOIFI at the International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World”.

The Rais of the republic expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Abdulrahman Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa for taking part in work of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic world”, and emphasized that participation of such authoritative experts contributes to the development of important decisions.
