On December 1 at a meeting with law enforcement bodies, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed concern about frequent cases of setting fire at orthodox churches. The President said that the problem is in the full glare of the public.

It was decided to grant a reward of 1 mln rubles for giving any information that may help to reveal crimes connected with setting fire at churches, and terrorist attacks of November 17 in Alekseevsky region and Nizhnekamsk town.

Investigation of the mentioned crimes will now be personally controlled by Rustam Minnikhanov.
