Rais of Tatarstan visits new “Care House” in Zelenodolsk

On 19 November during his working trip to Zelenodolsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova and the Head of Zelenodolsk municipality Mikhail Afanasyev, visited a new boarding “Care House” for elderly and disabled people opened in October this year and built within the federal programme “Senior Generation” of the national project “The Family.”  The total sum of financing amounted to 854m rubles, including 607m from the federal and 247m from the regional budgets.  
The institution is designed for 120 people and has all living amenities such as cozy living rooms, creative shops, a library and modern massage rooms as well as a therapeutic exercise and physiotherapy gym equipped with modern rehabilitation devices. Doctors, nurses and social workers assisted by volunteers – representatives of The Movement of the First - care for the elderly and disabled. 
Having talked to residents of the Care House and looked round the living unit, recreation rooms and a medical office, Rustam Minnikhanov gave high assessment to conditions created in the boarding house. He emphasized that caring for the older generation and people with disabilities is a sacred duty and wished the elderly residents a pleasant stay, good health and all the best. 
He also passed over to the facility a certificate for purchasing a needed transportation vehicle.
