Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan internal affairs officers have been always marked for high professionalism, responsibility and devotion to duty

On 10 November, speaking at a solemn event dedicated to celebrations of the Police and Internal Affairs Servicemen's Day held with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the  Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan  Asgat Safarov and the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan  Rustam Minnikhanov said that internal affairs officers of the republic have been always marked for high professionalism, responsibility and devotion to duty.

He emphasized that the focus of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees always remains caring for people, protecting their rights and ensuring safety. “You come to the rescue in the most difficult situations, often risking yourself, demonstrating your best human qualities in your daily activities. My special words of thanks to old stagers of the Internal Ministry, who have dedicated their lives to serving the Motherland and made a proper contribution in the matter of maintaining law and order,” the Rais of the republic said and thanked the Administration and the staff of the Ministry for the conscientious fulfillment of assigned tasks to ensure security and law and order during major events held in the republic this year such as celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), the elections of the Rais of the republic and during various major international forums.

He also expressed special gratitude to those policemen from the republic that ensure security in the new regions of Russia and community policemen working “on land”.

“I am sure you will cope with all the tasks facing you, in each of these areas you will act effectively and efficiently, serve the law with honor, strengthening the authority of the service. In its turn the republic will continue providing necessary help to the Ministry,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and in conclusion handed in a number of state awards.

The Minister of Internal Affairs for Tatarstan Damir Satretdinov stated than the law enforcement of the republic achieved decent results to their holiday and said: “The situation in the republic remains stable, the crime level keeps decreasing and there are practically no unsolved high-profile crimes left. Tatarstan is rightfully considered one of the most peaceful and stable regions of Russia.”

Damir Satretdinov thanked the administration of the republic for help and support in solving issues of social protection of the staff, preservations of the key personnel, for having created proper work environment, and handed in ministerial awards to the most outstanding employees of the Internal Ministry.
