Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates Tatarstan residents with the National Unity Day

On 4 November in his address to residents of the republic on the occasion of the National Unity Day, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them with the holiday and said: “This day has become a real manifestation of strength of spirit and unity of the multinational people of Russia in the history of our country.

Many centuries ago representatives of various classes and ethnicities were marching in serried ranks of people’s militia, liberating their native land. 

Today under conditions of the special military operation we continue to show solidarity in defending justice and historical truth, fighting decisively against neo-Nazism. 

I am sure that it is loyalty to our traditional spiritual and moral values ​​and respect for the heritage of our ancestors which are the source of our strength. We believe we will win!

The established friendly dialogue and mutual respect between representatives of all ethnicities and confessions are the inseparable part of stability, inter-ethnic and inter-confessional concord. That is why Tatarstan has always been an example of stable civic unity, preservation of languages, traditions and cultures, thus making its contribution into making Russia stronger.”

In conclusion the Rais of the republic wished everyone good health, peace, all the best and prosperity.
