Rustam Minnikhanov on the 80th anniversary of the Kazan Conservatory: Music university of the republic preserves musical traditions of the Tatar people and our entire country

On November 3, at a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory held in the Saydashev Concert Hall in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order "For Merit to Tatarstan" to the Kazan State Conservatory staff.

The Rais of Tatarstan emphasized at the ceremony: Kazan conservatory rightly occupies one of the leading positions among music universities in Russia, trains high-class specialists.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that today, musicians from all over the country and abroad come to study at the Kazan Conservatory. In the last 10 years alone, representatives of 28 countries graduated the university. Conservatory graduates work in various parts of the world – on renowned theater stages, in leading orchestras, and in educational institutions.

Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of Tatarstan to the most distinguished teachers and staff of the Kazan State Conservatory.
