Rustam Minnikhanov: Community police officers are our reliable support

On 1 November, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Tatarstan Minister of Internal Affairs Damir Satretdinov informed about the start of the final of the All-Russian competition "People's Community Police Officer-2025" where the republic is represented by the chief community policeman in Tukay region Major Ildar Vagizov, who has served in the police for 23 years.

Despite his workload and the volume of work exceeding the established standards, Ildar Vagizov makes every effort to maintain law and order in the territory entrusted to him. In the last three years alone, he has solved 29 crimes and identified 147 administrative violations, the regional Minister said.

He also took part in combat operations during official missions in the North Caucasus region and the Kherson region. And on 18 July 2023 he evacuated 53 village residents, including small children and disabled people from the shelling zone on a service bus.

“Community police officers are our reliable support. They are a very important link. We create all necessary conditions for them – comfortable work places, housing and transport.  It is a matter of our responsibility. After all, order and peace depend on the coordinated work of community police officers and local authorities,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
