On 29 October the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov had a meeting with heads of state and municipal power bodies of the Crimea who came to Kazan to take part in a special educational programme aimed at studying the experience of the republic in key spheres of public administration and further strengthening of interregional cooperation. The project has been implemented within the framework of agreements reached by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov, and the internship programme has been developed by an errand of the Office of the Rais with participation of the Higher School of Public and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University.
Speaking at the meeting, Asgat Safarov stated that trade and economic relations are quickly developing between the regions and expressed hope that the joint educational project will give new impetus to cooperation in all areas.
For several days the Crimea delegation has studied issues of the development of the regional educational system, the youth, manpower and internal policies, industry, employment and labour and interaction with mass media.
Crimean government officials learned about the experience of ministries of the republic, work of the Kazan Executive Committee and visited the Town of Innopolis and the Rameev IT Park.
In his turn the head of the Crimean delegation, the Deputy Chairman of the Crimea Cabinet of Ministers Albert Kurshutov thanked the leadership of Tatarstan for the high level of the organization of educational events and the unique opportunity to adopt best practices and effective management know-how.
