Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the Regional Public Organization” The Tatarstan Community”

On 28 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Regional Public Organization “The Tatarstan Community”  held in the Pashkov House in Moscow which is one of architectural monuments of the Russian capital.

The meeting started with an introductory speech of the Plenipotentiary representative of Tatarstan to Russia Ravil Akhmetshin, and then Rustam Minnikhanov told participants of the meeting about current tasks in economy and social policy of the republic and said: “Our main task today is to make our republic one of the best in the country. This is what we will work on – together with you.”

He also told about the BRICS Summit which plaid an enormous role in raising awareness about Tatarstan all over the world and added that the biggest achievement was the trust of Russian President Vladimir Putin who entrusted Kazan and Tatarstan with hosting the event.

Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded about the international forums “ROSTKI: Russia and China – mutually beneficial cooperation” and “TIME: Russia-India: Mutual Efficiency” annually held in the capital of the republic and that Kazan has been awarded the high honor of becoming the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2026.

 “Today, it is very important for us to show that representatives of all nationalities who live in Tatarstan do not forget their language, their culture, and their national holidays. I think we need to use Tatarstan as an example to show our country – all its diversity, its friendliness,” he said and concluded by emphasizing that the economy of the republic keeps growing despite all difficulties.

In the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin, who also took part in it, presented Rustam Minnikhanov with the highest award of Russian Muslims - the Al-Fakhr Order of Honor.
