Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in events of VIII International Forum “Russian Energy week”

On 16 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov took part in the VIII International Forum “Russian Energy week” held in Moscow on 15-17 October with participation of representatives from 85 countries.

The forum is the key international platform for discussing important issues of the development of fuel and energy complex and multilateral energy cooperation in the multi-polar world and on the sidelines of the forum Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony when Rector of State Power Engineering University Edvard Abdullazyanov signed agreements with the InterRAO-Electrogeneration” Company and the “Reliable generation” Charitable Fund.

Answering questions from the press, The Rais of the republic said: “Energy is the foundation of any economy. Without it there is no any economy”, and stated that the forum will discuss many important topics including those for the regions.  “Our country has powerful energy potential for the whole world, “he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov also attended the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week, where Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke.
