Rustam Minnikhanov meets Kazakhstan Minister of Industry and Construction

On 29 September, speaking at his meeting with the  Kazakhstan Minister of Industry and Construction Yersayin Nagaspayev  on the sidelines of the International Exhibition “Innoprom.Belarus” in Minsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  stated that the republic highly appreciates an opportunity of expanding bonds with Kazakhstan within the framework of friendly Russia-Kazakhstan relations.

He emphasized that Kazakhstan is one of the leading foreign partners of the republic with their mutual turnover having a positive dynamics in the first half of the current year.

Rustam Minnikhanov said he is sure that Tatarstan and Kazakhstan have many spheres for mutually beneficial trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation and stated that this is facilitated by the intergovernmental agreements on the principles of interaction, the activities of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Kazan, and the plenipotentiary representative office of Tatarstan in Astana.

It was stressed in the meeting that Kazakhstan market is very promising area for industrial enterprises in Tatarstan. This applies to both automotive industry, particularly the supply of heavy-duty trucks, and petrochemical products.
