Rustam Minnikhanov reports about results of elections and the economic growth of the republic at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin

On 26 September, speaking at a meeting which Russian President Vladimir Putin held via videoconference with heads of 21 Russian entities who won elections on 14 September,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention and continuous support given by the Head of the state to regions of the country and the republic.
“ This is extremely important for us and serves as the basis for confident development,” the Rais of the republic emphasized and informed about the results and  progress of elections held in the republic , having said 2m 230 thousand residents of Tatarstan took part in them having elected 7 531 their representatives to local governance bodies.
He also informed about support provided to participants of the special military operation and their families, the development of economy of the republic,  with its GRP making 102.9 per cent compared to the last year, and work of defense enterprises.
Rustam Minnikhanov reported that farmers of the republic have threshed 4.5m tonnes of grain and are finishing harvest of late crops. “This allows us to fully provide the population of the republic with agricultural products and supply a significant volume beyond its borders, he said.
The Rais of Tatarstan assured the head of state that the leadership of the republic will justify the trust placed in it by the country's leadership and personally by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In his turn Vladimir Putin wished Rustam Minnikhanov success and stated: “For many years, the republic has demonstrated very good GRP growth rates and economic development, serving as an example for many federal entities. You are an experienced and respected person in the republic. I sincerely wish you success. I am confident that all the tasks set will be accomplished. Well, Moscow, of course, will always be there, will support your endeavors, you know this, we are in constant contact with you.”
