Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with heads of 21 Russian entities elected during the One Voting Day

On 26 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting held by Russian President Vladimir Putin via videoconference with heads of 21 Russian entities who won elections on 14 September.
Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Vladimir Putin said: “We have gathered here so that I can congratulate you with having won the elections and to discuss what we have to do in the nearest future. Election campaigns in all regions were held in competitive conditions and in all these regions – taking into consideration high turnover - the victory was won by either the current leaders or those who performed these duties.  That is, our citizens, voters, evaluate candidates based on specific actions, based on results, and this is, of course, a healthy, responsible approach, an indicator of the maturity of the electoral culture and civil society as a whole.”
He reminded about the start of implementation of new national projects and said that their effectiveness largely depends on how the work is organized on the ground. “I do not doubt all these issues are under your permanent control and ask you not to slow down fulfillment of the  tasks set,” he said.
The Russian President also emphasized that what is important are not only professional but also personal qualities, as is the willingness to work, first and foremost, for the good of Russia, to serve its interests.  “ I expect that you will base your personnel policy on this and actively involve veterans of the special military operation in your management teams, primarily graduates of the federal programme "Time of Heroes" and its regional counterparts,” Vladimir Putin said and in conclusion wished everyone successful and fruitful work and achievement of those results people are waiting for.
“Frankly speaking I count on this quality of your and our joint work,” he said.
For information: Rustam Minnikhanov who took office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan on 19 September won the elections on 14 September, having received 88.09 per cent of votes.
