On November 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov presented awards to officers of Central military district, who ensured safety during 27th World summer Universiade in Kazan.

Medal “For valorous labour” of the Republic of Tatarstan was presented to Deputy Commander of troops of Central military district Lieutenant General Evgeny Ustinov and Commander of troops of radiation, chemical, and biological protection Valery Vasiliev.

Rustam Minnikhanov also expressed gratitude to Commander of air forces and defence Lieutenant General Viktor Sevostyanov, Head of Air Defence Division and Aviation Major General Viktor Dvoinov, and Head of engineering troops Major General Andrey Gagloev.

Secretary of Security Council Valery Vlasov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to Commander of Central military district Nikolay Bogdanovsky on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
