Rustam Minnikhanov opens International forum Kazan Digital Week – 2025

On 17 September, speaking at the opening ceremony of the International Forum  Kazan Digital Week – 2025 held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center on 17-19 September, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov underlined that every year the forum, which is held for the sixth time this year, is becoming increasingly large-scale and significant .

He said that there are about 20 thousand participants from 75 countries of the world, including Belarus, India, China, the UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan and others, who have registered for the forum which will discuss ten key topics related to implementation of AI in such spheres as public governance, medicine, transport and etc., the block chain technologies and crypto industry and others.

There will also be battles of mini-robots and information protection tournaments with participation of veterans of the special military operation and many other events.

As many as 302 leading Russian and foreign IT companies and startups will demonstrate their solutions at the exposition which is held on the sidelines of the Forum, he said.

It is supposed that the Kazan Digital Week – 2025 will become an efficient platform for discussing promising trends and advanced practices in digital transformation, for demonstrating achievements and technological solutions and for exchanging experience between leaders of the branch and innovators from all over the world, the Rais of the republic said.

“I am sure we will be able to discuss important topics. Tatarstan is ready to create conditions for such events.” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.

In his turn Russian Deputy Minister of digital Development and Mass Communications Oleg Kachanov emphasized that for several years now, the forum has confirmed its importance as one of the main events in the field of digital development.

“Numbers speak for themselves. The platform has an international status and it is important that it helps to share best practices and experience,” he said.
