Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin look round the improved Zilant garden

On 15 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin looked round the Zilant garden, which underwent capital overhaul and is located on Kremlevskaya Street in Kazan.

The fountain, which is still the central point of the garden, has been complemented by the three-meter high Zilant (Dragon) sculpture manufactured by a sketch of the Tatar sculptor Alfiz Sabirov.

During the garden improvement much attention was attached to its greenery and more than 1 800 bushes were planted and 300 square meters of turf grass were laid on the area of 615 square meters.

The work was done by the Institute of the development of Kazan within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for life”.
