Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates oil and gas workers with their professional holiday

On 7 September in his address dedicated to the Day of Oil and Gas Workers, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them with their professional holiday and thanked them for their dedicated work 

He wrote: “The whole dynamics of the modern world, its development and progress are ensured by the achievements of the oil and gas complex. Transport, industry and power sector which are the key sectors of economy, function due to resources provided by petrochemical branch of economy. 

History of the branch is not just a chronicles of industrial successes but a history of transformation of whole regions, birth of towns and settlements, development of scientific schools and labour dynasties. 
And today the petrochemical sector continues to create powerful multiplication impact in all spheres of economy becoming a catalyst for innovations and growth.

The Tatneft Company, which is celebrating its 75th birthday this year, is a decent example of successful development. Over the past decades, the company has come a long way from the first oil wells to a modern vertically integrated holding company of international level. The Tatneft implements large scale investments projects, introduces innovational technological solutions and sets high standards of quality and ecological responsibility, which allows it to look to the future with confidence.”
