Rustam Minnikhanov visits perinatal center after completion of its construction in Almetyevsk

On 6 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov, who went on a working trip to Almetyevsk to take part in events dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Oil and Gas Workers, visited a perinatal center, the construction of which has been just completed.

The facility, which is a part of Almetyevsk Interregional Multi-field Hospital with 168 beds for women and 85 for newborns, will be able to deliver up to three thousand babies every year and will become an important link of the healthcare system not only for the city and the South-East of the republic but for the whole Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the facility and, talking to medical doctors, emphasized that the republic attaches big attention to issues of medical structure modernization and creating decent conditions for healthcare workers.
