Rustam Minnikhanov goes on a working trip to Aktanysh region

On 4 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnijhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and the Head of Aktanysh region Lenar Zaripov went on a working trip to the region where he had a meeting with machine operators involved in harvesting work, heads of agricultural enterprises and of rural settlements.   
The Head of the region informed that harvest has been completed by 68% with 98 thousand tonnes of new yield grain threshed. The sowing of winter plants is planned on 11 thousand hectares, he said. 
Speaking about cattle breeding, Lenar Zaripov told that there are 30 700 heads of cattle including 10 500 milking cows in the region with the gross milk production having made 58 700 thousand tonnes as of 1 September. He also said that farmers of the region also breed horses and currently there are about 600 of them. 
The gross output of agricultural enterprises and peasant farms amounted to 2 billion 882 million rubles for the first 7 months in the region , having shown the growth  of 26 per cent compared to the same period last year.  
In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov thanked residents of Aktanysh for huge work done in providing humanitarian aid and sending necessary goods to the special military operation zone and stated the importance of assisting soldiers and their families. 
“In the whole Aktanysh is a stable region having a very professional team. Today it is necessary to use up every good day and to finish the harvest and sowing on time,” he emphasized.
