On November 25 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov visited “Tatburneft” drilling control centre, where operators control the well drilling process using cameras and sensors installed at drill sites.

If necessary, they specialists contact technologists and engineers locally to give recommendations regarding the drilling process.

There is also a group of geologists working in the centre.

Tatarstan President also saw a measure while drilling system.

Shafagat Takhautdinov said that highly skilled specialists are required to use state-of-the-art technologies and addressed Tatarstan higher educational institutions with request to train students for this industry.
