Rustam Minnikhanov: Nizhnekamsk region rapidly develops

On 1 September at his meeting with heads of enterprises and institutions, of rural settlements and the group of activists of the region during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was informed that in the first six months of the current year local enterprises have shipped more than 427bn rubles of produces, having occupied the third place in the republic. 

The number of heads of cattle is 10 900 including 5 thousand cows and the farmers of the region have already threshed 64 thousand tonnes of grains, he was told. 

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that Nizhnekamsk region rapidly develops and thanked the SIBUR Company for supporting the development of public spaces, social sphere and modernization of medical facilities. 

He expressed special gratitude to residents and enterprises of the region for providing humanitarian help and goods sent to the special military operation zone and emphasized the importance of supporting soldiers and their families. 

The Rais of the republic stated that all regional programmes will continue in the next year, including that of communal structure modernization.
