Rustam Minnikhanov and Mikhail Karisalov gave start to construction of the Ship Grove recreation facility in Nizhnekamsk

On 1 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board, the Director General of the SIBUR Company Mikhail Karisalov took part in a ceremony of the first pile sinking on the construction site of the next building of the Ship Grove recreation facility in Nizhnekamsk.

The project investments will be more than 6bn rubles and the facility will be used for annual recreation of 9 thousand employees of the Company and their families from all regions of Russia. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the SIBUR demonstrates the high level of social responsibility of business. ”The modernized polyclinic of the Nizhnekamskheftekhim is a modern medical facility of the world level and the conditions created for its staff are an example for the whole region. I would like to express special thanks to the SIBUR for the large scale work in the development of social structure and not only in the sphere of healthcare but also in the higher education. Start of the construction of the new recreation complex is a landmark even and the facility will undoubtedly become a gem of the republic and facilitate strengthening of health of our residents,” he said.

The area of the resort will be doubled  and will cover up to 20 thousand square meters and will have fully equipped medical services building, summer movies theatre and sports and recreating territories.
