Rustam Minnikhanov visits in-patient facility of Yelabuga Central Regional Hospital after its capital overhaul

On 31 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Yelabuga Central Regional Hospital where he looked round the renovated in-patient facility for 428 beds, the ICU, operation theatre and an IC ward.  The Central Hospital provides in- and out-patient medical services to 78 500 people employing 1 316 workers with seven more doctors to joint in by the end of the year. 

Later the Rais of the republic had a meeting with medical workers of the hospital where the Chief medical doctor Mansur Poteev thanked the Leadership of the republic for supporting modernization of the medical institution. In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the main task is to attract specialists more actively. “Yelabuga is a comfortable city and every year becomes better and better. You should attract doctors and create all necessary conditions for them. This is a priority task," he emphasized.
