Rais of Tatarstan: Gazprom is out strategic partner

On 26 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Gazprom PJSC Oleg Aksyutin took part in a meeting of the Gazprom Vendor Day held at the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the Gazprom Vendor Day has become an important platform for the development of cooperation between enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and domestic manufacturers.

“Gazprom is our strategic partner with whom we successfully implement joint projects in machine-building, petrochemical industry, geophysics, scientific, industrial and educational spheres,” he said and emphasized that over the past 3 years, the volume of products and services supplied by about 250 Tatarstan enterprises within the framework of the roadmap for the use of products of the organizations of the republic in the interests of the Gazprom has exceeded 42bn rubles. 

“Tatarstan is one the leaders of gas consumption in the country and last year this index reached the historical maximum of 19bn cubic meter,” the Rais of the republic said and also mentioned huge work carried out in the republic under the program of completing gasification.

In his turn Oleg Aksyutin emphasized that the Vendor Day has deservedly acquired the status of the largest platform for interaction and expansion of cooperation with manufacturers of products and has become an important event of Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum.

He particularly noted the experience of successful partnership with Tatarstan manufacturers, as well as with construction contractors of the republic.
