Rais of Tatarstan meets Afghanistan Minister of Mines and Petroleum of Mullah Hidayatullah Badri

On 26 August at his meeting with the Afghanistan Minister of Mines and Petroleum of  Mullah Hidayatullah Badri  on the sidelines of Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guest for his visit to Kazan and stated that Afghani delegations often came to the republic and took part in various events. In May of the current year the high delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of Afghanistan Government Mullah Abdul Gani Baradar took part in the KazanForum, he informed.

The parties of the meeting discussed the development of trade and economic bonds and prospects of interaction in the spheres of energy, transport and Halal industry. 

“I am sure that the visit of a representative Afghani delegation and its participation in the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum will facilitate the development of our cooperation,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.

In his turn Hidayatullah Badri proposed to organize a working group to analyze the most promising spheres of cooperation.
