Rais of Tatarstan looks round bio laboratory and tea factory in Leninogorsk orphanage

On 23 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Leninogosk orphanage opened in 1995 on the base of the dormitory of the boarding school №1 and which currently houses 37 pupils from 6 to 17 years old in five educational groups who live and grow in comfortable and modern conditions.

The Rais of the republic looked round a bio lab for growing trees and ornamental plants bred by microcloning opened for children in 2023, where they are doing research and practical work. The finished seedlings are then used for landscaping cities in the southeast of the republic. 

This year the orphanage building underwent capital overhaul and a year-round greenhouse with an adaptation platform was built. 

The facility also has a lab “Children’s tea factory” where Rustam Minnikhanov was demonstrated main technological processes of manufacturing and packaging more than 20 kinds of tea  produced form local leaves and herbs collected by children,

In conclusion of his visit Rustam Minnikhanov had a family memorial picture with the pupils.
