Rustam Minnikhanov visits an oil park-museum in Shugurovo and watches Kara Altyn (Black Gold) musical

On 23 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who went on a working trip to Leninogosk region of the republic visited an oil park-museum in the Settlement of Shugurovo established in 2015 on the site of a stripped down Shugurovo oil bitumen plant founded in the second half of the 19th century. The expositions of the museum demonstrate the development of oil producing and refinery industry of the republic and the authentic traditions of inhabitants of the South-East of the republic. 

During his tour round the museum, the Rais of the republic was shown a documentary musical “Kara Altyn (Black Gold)” the action of which goes on in various oil industry locations and which tells about the development of oil industry in Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov highly praised the theatrical production and said: “A very interesting performance. Oil industry of Tatarstan has rich history. It is important to tell about its development, old stagers and difficult conditions fist tonnes of oil of the republic were produced in.”
