At a meeting in Tatarstan Government House Rustam Minnikhanov summarizes results of the past week and gives errands for the following one

On 23 August, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov summarized results of the past week and reminded about the International Forum ROSTKI held on 18-19 August with participation of representatives from 40 countries of the world, 68 regions of Russia and 28 administrative territories of China.

He also informed that the Chairman of the Russian Government took part in the 10th All-Russia Forum “The Development of small towns and historical settlements” held on 20-21 August at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

“It was not by chance that the republic was chosen as a venue for this forum as Tatarstan has huge experience in this sphere. Since 2015 we have improved 450 parks, gardens, and boulevards  and 5 174 courtyards have been already improved by the Our Yard programme since 2020”, Rustam Minnikhanov said and added that Kukmor, Tetyushi, Menzelinsk, Vysokaya Gora, Aksubaevo and Alekseevskoye won 474m rubles of prizes in total for their best projects for creating comfortable urban environment.

He also reminded about the Day of the Republic to be held next week and the Millyat Zgyene (National Assembly) –the key event of World Tatar Congress to take place on its eve as well as the Fourth Global Youth Summit to gather guests from 42 countries.

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to heads of cities and their districts to hold festive events dedicated to the Day of the republic at the high organizational level and together with law-enforcement bodies ensure safety and public order.
