Mikhail Mishustin and Rustam Minnikhanov look round an exposition on the sidelines of the All-Russia Forum “The Development of small towns and historical settlements”

On 21 August the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin, who came on a working trip to Kazan, accompanied by the his Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov and the Russian Minister of Construction and Housing Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin, got acquainted with the exposition of the All-Russia Forum “The Development of small towns and historical settlements” organized at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, which demonstrates key achievements and most efficient tools and practices in shaping and developing the urban environment for the last years.

The participants of the exposition are manufacturers of road and municipal equipment, lighting and play equipment for parks and playgrounds, small architectural forms, transport stops and other things, with Tatarstan demonstrating its significant achievements in the development of urban environment such as examples of implementation of parks and gardens project, development of new tourist routes and preservation of unique natural complexes.

The Russian Ministry of Construction has exposed two interactive touch panels, representing the best projects of the All-Russia competition for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements and the key indexes of the “Gosuslugi (State Services). Dom (Home)” Platform. 

The All-Russia Forum is held within the framework of the federal project “Developing the comfortable urban environment”, initiated by an errand of the Russian President and is the key branch event comprising discussions and developing new solutions by representatives of federal and regional power bodies, institutes of development and leading specialists in architecture, design and  urban studies.
