Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan will be glad to expand interaction with Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the General Secretary of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products Guo Kuilong on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed his guest and stated that the forum is a good platform for discussing interaction, meeting business partners and achieving concrete deals

“You are the head of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products which comprises more than 15 thousand state enterprises of the branch. The structures which consolidate businesses and represent their interests are very important,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and emphasized that Tatarstan welcomes Chinese investors in the republic and the region has all necessary conditions for their comfortable work.

He also informed that at the first forum in 2023 he had a meeting with the President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products Mister Zhang Yujing and stated that Tatarstan is considered to be one of the most developed regions of Russia and plays a noticeable role in strengthening interaction between Russia and China.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products together with corresponding organizations of Tatarstan will define a number of enterprises and will work out interaction with them in more detail.

In his turn Mister Guo Kuilong noted the good organizational work carried out by the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency in preparation for the ROSTKI forum. He told that he is taking part in the forum for the second time and can see results of this interaction.
