Rustam Minnikhanov gives assessment to grain harvesting and visits Olymp sports school in Yutazy region

On 17 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov went on a working trip to Yutazy region of the republic where, at his meeting with machine operators, heads of farms and  rural settlements and regional activists, the Head of the region Ayaz Shafigullin reported that the harvest of winter crops has been completed in the region, with spring crops harvest still going on with the average yield of 37.8 centners per hectare.

He assured that weather permitting the farmers of the region will complete grain harvesting by the first decade of September and start harvesting of industrial crops.

Marat Zybbarov gave positive assessment to work of Yutazy region and called for more active participation in programs supporting agricultural producers, including private farmsteads.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov stated that in the whole the region demonstrates stable results and wished everyone successful completion of the harvest, having emphasized the substantial contribution of farmers into the economy of the region.

He also informed that most of complaints coming from residents of the region are related to condition of highways and potable water supply problems and said: “We will keep the situation under control and will take this into consideration in budgetary targeting.”

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that all programmes being implemented in Tatarstan and related to the development of municipal regions and infrastructure will be continued.

Later the same day the Rais of the republic visited the Olymp sports school after its capital overhaul, where he talked to young athletes, and looked round a stadium in the settlement of Urussu.
