Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of errands at a meeting in Tatarstan Government House

On 16 August, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that traditionally there will be various events held during the Day of the State Flag of Russia.

“On 22 August next week the country will celebrated the Day of the State Flag of Russia. This holiday symbolizes unity, pride and love to the Motherland. I give an errand to the heads of municipalities to provide the necessary assistance in carrying out all planned events, “he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded about the Third International Forum “ROSTKI: Russia and China-mutually beneficial cooperation” to be held in Kazan on 18-19 August and the All Russia Forum ”Development of small cities and historic settlements” to be held by the Russian Ministry of Construction and Housing Utilities Sector  in Kazan on 20-21, which is a discussion, methodical and exposition platform for discussing issues related to the development of small cities and historic settlements of Russia and exchange of best practices.   “These days Kazan will also host the second All Russia Youth Forum “The Youth and City Environment”, the Rais of the republic informed.

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the international competition of young performers of popular music “New Wave” for the first time to be held in Kazan from 21 to 16 August is an  important and responsible event and said: “The competition is the largest event of cultural life of Russia and other countries. For the years of its existence the competition has become one of recognizable platforms of modern musical space.” He reminded that all services of Kazan, hospitality facilities and the city infrastructure are taking part in preparation of the events and gave an errand to pay special attention to security issues.
