Rais of Tatarstan gets acquainted with harvest progress in Rybnaya Sloboda region

On 15 August during his working trip to Rybnaya Sloboda region the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with machine operators engaged in harvesting work, farm managers, investors and regional activists near the Settlement of Shelanka, where the Head of the region Radik Islyamov reported that farmers have already harvested 15 500 hectares or 50 per cent of the area, having threshed 58 200 tonnes of grain with the average yield of 38 centners per hectare. 

There are 10 100 heads of cattle in the region, including 2 300 cows, Radik Islyamov said and informed that 9 200 tonnes of milk has been produced from January to July of the current year. 

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of timely and quality sowing of winter crops and thanked heads of farms for joint well-coordinated work. He also stressed that all state programmes being implemented in the republic will go on. 

Later the same day the Rais of the republic visited the new building of the children’s art school after F. Akhmadiev in Rybnaya Sloboda which teaches children in music, singing, painting, choreography and theatre art.
