Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with harvest progress in Tetyushi region

On 12 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov and the Head of Tetyushi region Ramis Safiullov came on a working trip to the region where, at his meeting by the Settlement of Bakrchi with farm machine operators, farm managers, investors and heads of rural settlements he talked to the workers and awarded the best combine operators of the harvest campaign. 

Reporting about the harvest, Ramis Safiullov said that currently 18 600 hectares have been harvested which makes 44 per cent of the planned with an average yield of 58 centners per hectare. The weather permitting the harvest will be completed by August 30, he said. 

Farmers have also already begun sowing winter crops, the Head of the region said and added that the sugar beet yield forecast is more than 500 thousand tonnes. 

He also informed that farmers of the region have produced 13 300 tonnes of milk during the first six months of the current year. 

In the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov thanked heads of farms for well-coordinated work and wished them success in their hard work.
