Rais of Tatarstan visits the Kazanselmash plant and meets farmers of the Vysokogorsky region

On August 10, during his working visit to the Vysokogorsky region of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the activities of the production complex of Kazanselmash Company in the settlement of Inesh of the Vysokogorsky region, which produces machinery and equipment for agriculture. These are self-propelled, trailed, mounted sprayers of various modifications, spreaders of mineral fertilizers, transport mixers, combined and spare parts for sprayers. In total, the enterprise employs more than 300 people.

Minnikhanov was also informed that this year the enterprise launched an import substitution program. Work is underway to localize the production of as many components as possible for hydraulic motors. Work is underway to equip with metalworking machines.

A meeting with the heads of settlements took place there. The head of the region Ravil Khisamutdinov reported that 26% of the total area has been harvested, with the average yield reaching 40 cents per hectare. More than 25 state programs are being implemented in the region. A lot of road work is being done this year. Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov reported that in addition to harvesting, the region is actively preparing for sowing. The Vysokogorsky region is also actively participating in grants and support programmes. Minnikhanov drew attention to the importance of supporting the families of SVO participants, especially the families of fallen soldiers. The Rais of the republic noted that the budget for next year is currently being formed, and emphasized that all programs will be continued.
