King of Malaysia and Rais of Tatarstan visit Kazan Helicopter Plant

On 9 August the King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan during his first official visit to Russia, accompanied by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant, which is a part of the “Russian Helicopters” holding of the Rostec State Corporation. 

The guest was shown a range of helicopters Mi-38, Mi-8MTV1 and Ansat manufactured by the Kazan plant and the exposition of the industrial potential of the republic where the Malaysian delegation got acquainted with the machinery of the largest enterprises of the region.

The delegation was also demonstrated work of the assembly, painting and the final assembly shops and was reminded that in the current year at the 17th International Sea and Aerospace Exhibition LIMA 2025 in Malaysia the Russian Helicopters handed in awards to Malaysian users of Russian machines, namely the Department of the Fire Rescue Service of Malaysia and the AIROD Company which has been operating our helicopters for nearly 30 years.

Sultan Ibrahim also looked round the exposition of produce of other leading enterprises of the republic such as the Zelenodosk Ship-building Plant, Aurus cars and KAMAZ Trucks, medical simulators of the Eidos Company and others.
