Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of errands at a regular Saturday meeting in Tatarstan Government House

On 9 August, speaking at a regular Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that during celebrations of the Physical Education Day more than 250 sports events will be held in the republic, with the Uram Extreme-Park becoming its main site.

“Doing sports is one of the most important aspects of rehabilitation of veterans of the special military operation (SMO),” he said and reminded about sports competitions being held in Almetyevsk, Kazan and Bogatuue Saby. The final competitions will be held in the beginning of September and Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to organize them at the high organizational level.

Then the Rais of the republic said that tomorrow (10 August) veterans and employees of the construction branch will celebrate their professional holiday the Constructor’s Day and reminded that this branch employs more than 86 thousand people and shows stable economic growth every year.

In the last five years the amount of construction increased by 2.5 times and 15m square meters of housing was built, Rustam Minnikhanov said and expressed gratitude to construction workers for their labour including work in new regions.

He also informed that more than 521 000 kinds including more than 49 000 first graders will go to school in the current year and told about the number of school buses handed over to educational institutions of the republic in 2025.

In conclusion Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to all responsible organizations to ensure qualitative and timely completion of construction work at all facilities and most important to provide readiness of schools to the new school year.
