Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev

On 31 July, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated his colleague on the recent Navy Day. A delegation from the republic visited Sevastopol during the festive events. 

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded about a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the republic and Sevastopol signed on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Forum and about the representative office of Tatarstan working in the Crimea and the City of Sevastopol. 

“There is a great potential for increasing deliveries and strengthening contacts between our regions in such spheres as power industry, machine-building and IT technologies,” the Rais of the republic said and attracted attention to the fact that within the framework of the previously signed agreement, the areas in which cooperation will develop are being worked out in detail.

“Regions should cooperate and today we already have the road map on industry. The same documents will be developed in other spheres,” he emphasized. 

In his turn the Governor of Sevastopol thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the attention he personally attaches to the development of cooperation between the regions. “I would like to thank Rustam (Nurgalievich) for the fact that he fully practices what he preaches. Just recently we signed the agreement and a very serious delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic already came to Sevastopol and worked there for several days,” Mikhail Razvizhaev emphasized. 

He stated the large experience of Tatarstan in the establishment of technical parks and development of industrial capacity in the whole. That is why the delegation from the republic was shown sites which exist in Sevastopol today to get recommendations of their development and discussed a possibility of attracting investors from Tatarstan there.

“Today we are interested in maximizing cooperation in completely different directions. And first of all, we expect that our colleagues will help us choose the right strategy for industrial development,” the Governor of Sevastopol concluded.
