Rais of Tatarstan and President of Russian Football Union sign a cooperation agreement

On 11 July on the eve of the Russian Football Super Cup play between the CSKA and Krasnodar football clubs to be held at the Ak Bars Arena in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  and the President of the Russian Football Union Aleksandr Dyukov signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of football. 

The agreement envisages joint work and implementation of programmes aimed at the development of football in the republic, the development of school and students’ sports, the improvement of sport facilities and infrastructure and a number of other spheres. 

Football is one of the basic and most popular kinds of sports in Tatarstan with nearly 67 thousand people doing it. Football is developed in 51 units of sport schools training more than 10 thousand kids and teenagers coached by 266 coaches.
