Rustam Minnikhanov: The first place of Tatarstan in the rating of industrial policy efficiency is the merit of the entire large team of our republic

On 11 July, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the first place of Tatarstan in the rating of industrial policy efficiency is the merit of the entire large team of our republic.

On the beginning of the current week a delegation from the republic took part in the International Industrial Exhibiton INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg, where the Rissna Ministry of Industry and Trade summarized results of the rating of efficiency of the implementation industrial policy in Russian entities on 2024 and Tatarstan topped the rating, moving up 5 positions at once.

“This is the result of large and well-coordinated work of labour teams of industrial enterprises, educational institutions, science and power bodies. The number of industrial enterprises has increased by one third since 2010, and despite all difficulties more than 5.6 trillion of goods were shipped and the IRI made 105% last year.  For the first 6 months of this year, the growth in industrial production is 8%. Of course we have huge support of the federal Ministry and the Russian Government and we take part in all programmes and projects,” the Rais of the republic said.

He also mentioned the international agribusiness exhibition AgroVolga held in the current week with participation of more than 400 companies from various regions of Russia and foreign and in the conclusion reminded about the Day of Saints Peter and Paul celebrated by Russian Orthodoxy on 12 July. ”This is one of the most worshipped fests of baptized Tatars and today festive events will be held in many regions of the republic. I ask organizers to pay special attention to safety issues and prevention of transport collapse,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
