Rais of Tatarstan and Russian Minister of Energy meet participants of inter-university summer school of engineers of the energy of the future “INZHIR-2025”

On 9 July Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev and the the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met participants of inter-university summer school of engineers of the energy of the future “INZHIR-2025”  organized at Kazan State Power Engineering University.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “It is a great honor for us to host in Kazan the large scale education school on competencies of mastering modern technologies in power engineering. Tatarstan is a large industrial center of Russia and industry and power branch are closely interconnected. Today with support of the Russian Ministry of Energy we are implementing a number of large projects, paying special attention to education and training highly qualified specialists. The summer school is held at Kazan Power Engineering University which is of the leading technical universities of the country.”

In his lecture to participants of the summer school Sergey Tsivilev told what technological sovereignty is and which its components are in the sphere of power industry, what is needed for defining critically important technologies and why the just energy transition is important.

The aim of the educational project is to popularize professions of the energy of the future, to reveal and develop creating abilities and interest to research of students and make them acquainted with companies-leaders of the branch, and in the current year Kazan Power Engineering University has collected 200 best power engineering students from Russia and the CIS countries at school to be held on 7-15 July.

INZHIR-2025 in Kazan has been organized within the framework of the project of National technological initiative Energynet with the support of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the Ministry of Science and Education of Tatarstan and large industrial and technological partners.
