Rustam Minnikhanov: More than 26 thousand facilities have been built or repaired in cities and region of Tatarstan for the last six years

On 5 July, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that more 26 thousand various social housing utilities and public services and amenities facilities have been built or repaired in cities and region of Tatarstan  by national projects, state and regional programmes for the last six years.

He emphasized that the republic carries out huge work in construction and modernization of infrastructural facilities and thanked Russian President and The Government for measures of supporting regions taken at the federal level.

Rais of the republic informed that in the current year more than 3 500 facilities will be built or undergo capital overhaul by all programmes, more than 3m 269 thousand square meters of housing are planned to be commissioned five new schools and seven kindergartens will be built and 678 multi-apartment houses yards will be improved. In addition the regional programme of modernization of housing unities system has started, he added.

Rustam Minnikhanov also told that about 7 thousand kilometers of federal, regional and municipal roads have been built and repaired in this six years and 1 500 kilometers more will be built and repaired in the current year.

He emphasized that all facilities built or renovated by current programmes are first of all focused on raising the quality of life of Tatarstan residents.

He also attracted attention to the necessity of improvement the appearance of construction sites and gave an errand to develop common standards of appearance of construction sites, road repairs and the infrastructure in total.
