Rustam Minnikhanov: Leningrad region is one of the leading business partners of our republic

On 20 June, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Leningrad region Aleksandr Drozdenko on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Leningrad region is one of the leading business partners of our republic. We deliver trucks, petrol and diesel fuel, food products and medical instruments to you. Our petrochemical and machine-building enterprises are interested in expanding the cooperation.”

According to the last data on interregional trade turnover it has made 10bn rubles, with such companies as the KAMAZ, Ak Bars Holding, the KAMA Trading House, Tatspirtprom Distillery, the Kukmor Felt Factory and others having a good history of cooperation with the region.

The parties of the meeting also signed an agreement between Tatarstan and Leningrad region on trade, economic, scientific and technological, social and cultural cooperation in 2025-2027.
