Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of the Republika c Srpska Milorad Dodik

On 19 June, speaking at his meeting with the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “We are doing systemic work in implementation of the Plan as much as it is possible under the current conditions. We have prepared the list of participants of a working group for the development of cooperation with the Republika Srpska with participation of concerned ministries and directorates of Tatarstan. Our Ministry of Trade and Industry is preparing a visit of our delegation to your republic.”

At their previous meeting at the SPIEF last year Rustam Minnikhanov and Milorad Dodik signed a Protocol on cooperation of the regions and in October they signed the Action plan on the protocol implementation 2024-2026.

The parties of the meeting stated that unfortunately the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina is very low and mentioned such promising spheres for cooperation as petrochemical industry, helicopter manufacturing and machine-building, agriculture and food industry. 

“I am grateful to you for the attention you are giving to our delegation. I know that your region is one of the most developed and we are ready for any kind of cooperation,“ Milorad Dodik assured.
