At their meeting members of the Tatarstan State Council approve 14 September as the day of the election of the Rais of the republic

On 11 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the tenth session of the regional State Council of the seventh convocation held by the Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin.

The agenda of the session includes 30 issues including 15 regional draft laws, in particular those introducing amendments into laws on the implementation of the regional budget and the budget of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund in 2024, on budget of the republic in 2025 and the planned period of 2026 and 2027 and on establishing tax rates for taxpayers using the simplified taxation system.

The members of the Council also listened to a report of the regional Cabinet of Ministers about implementation of the youth policy in the republic, reports of the regional Accounting Chamber and the entrepreneurs Ombudsmen of the republic about results of their work in 2024.

At the meeting the Council also voted and approved 14 September 2025 as the date of the election of the Rais of Tatarstan.
