Rais of Tatarstan in Ingushetia: Our regions traditionally have very warm relations

On 29 May, speaking at his meeting with the Head of Ingushetia Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the republic on a working trip, thanked his colleague for the invitation and a warm welcome.

“Our regions traditionally have very warm relations. A number of large enterprises of Tatarstan cooperate with Ingushetia. In the whole I can see a big potential for increasing deliveries and strengthening contacts in such spheres as power engineering, machine-building, supplies of gas-driven machinery, agribusiness and IT,” the Rais of the republic said and briefly told about economic capacity of Tatarstan as one of leading and industrially developed regions of Russia. 

In his turn the Head of Ingushetia emphasized that the region has already defined those branches where it plans to borrow experience. “Your experience of attracting investments, management of territories and the development of digitalization are just a part of spheres we have defined for ourselves and want to borrow the experience,” Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov said. 

Rustam Minnikhanov informed that a working group will be established to facilitate the interaction between the republics and it will be supervised by the Chief of Staff of the office of the Rais of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov. With the aim of detailed elaboration of the cooperation spheres the group will work out a road map, he said.
