As many as 213 facilities in the sphere of education and 226 in healthcare are under capital overhaul in Tatarstan

On 24 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported about the implementation of the capital overhaul programme in the republic.

The largest amount – both in the number of facilities and the finances- is being done in the spheres of education and healthcare with 213 facilities under overhaul in the education and 226 in healthcare, he emphasized.

Marat Ayzatullin told that the capital overhaul of schools has been completed by 45 per cent with the majority of work on catering units to begin after the end of the school year and informed about the work to be done in kindergartens and resource centers.

He also informed about work to be done by regional and federal programmes in the capital overhaul of facilities in the spheres of healthcare, culture, youth policy, social protection, sports and ecology.

The regional Minister also told about 911 multi-apartment houses to undergo capital overhaul in 42 municipalities of the republic with the cost of the work making 11bn 266m rubles.

In conclusion Marat Ayzatullin told that the All-Russia voting for choosing public spaces to be improved in 2026 is still going on, with 294 109 residents of the republic having already voted.
