Rustam Minnikhanov and participants of the Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council visit the Rameev IT Park

On 21 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin, the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov and other participants of a meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council, visited the Rameev IT Park in Kazan. 

The guests of the Park were told about main branches of economy of Tatarstan and its innovational, industrial and investments capacity, giving special emphasis to the actively developing cooperation of the republic with China. Today it is one of the most important foreign economic partners of the republic with their mutual trade turnover having reached 3.3bn dollars last year and the Chinese companies being large investors, such as Haier, which implement their high end projects in the region.

Then the guests had a tour round the Park where they looked round the cybersports arena, the children’s IT Park and watched presentations of innovational projects of the IT Park residents. 

In the end Marat Khusnullin, Zhang Guoqing, Igor Komarov and Rustam Minnikhanov had a working meeting also in the IT Park.
